Ismaʿil Raji al-Faruqi (Arab: إسماعيل راجي الفاروقي "Ismāʿīl Rājī al-Fārūqī" ; Januari 1921 – 27 Mei 1986) nya siku kaban filosofi enggau sarjana Islam Palestin-Amerika ti mayuh begawa dalam pelajar Islam enggau dialog entara pengarap. Biografi

Filosofi enggau penemu

Penemu awal: Arabisme

Runding pengarap al-Faruqi keterubah iya nuju ngagai ‘urubah (Arabisme). Iya madahka ‘urubah nya paung identiti ke nyambungka semua Muslim ngagai siti komuniti pengarap (ummah) sereta ngumbai jaku Arab penting dalam penemu pengajar Islam, laban iya nya jaku al-Quran. Penemu awal iya nguing ngagai ‘urubah sereta penyerakup Muslim, tang lebuh datai, iya nemu identiti Islam ke besai agi, enda nuju mina penemu Arab aja.[29]

Al-Faruqi madahka ‘urubah ngundan unsur linguistik enggau pengarap, nganjung Islam enggau monoteisme baka pemeri Arabisme ngagai umat manusia. Iya nemu ke penyemerai tamadun Islam ngelantang pengaruh Arab baka pengelantang budaya penyerakup pengarap Muslim di serata dunya.[30] Penemu Arabisme al-Faruqi ngelantang lebih daripada nasionalisme, iya nyadi jembatan ideologi ke nyambung baka pengarap dalam Islam.[31]

Pengalih ngagai Islamisme

Iya madah, “Nyentuk ke beberapa bulan ti udah, aku siku Palestin, siku Arab, enggau siku Muslim. Diatu aku siku Muslim ti ba awak ke sama siku Arab ari Palestin.”[37] Iya mega madah, “Aku nanya diri: Sapa aku? Siku orang Palestin, siku perunding, siku humanis liberal? Saut aku: Aku siku Muslim.”[23]

Dalam taun-taun kepenudi iya, al-Faruqi meratka penting undang-undang Islam. Undang-undang tu baka rangka ngaga adat etika enggau sosial. Iya nerangkaka ukum, baka ukum ngagai penchuri enggau zina, baka pencegah. Ukum tu deka ngajar disiplin enggau nyeliahka penurun sosial. Al-Faruqi meda undang-undang tu baka bagi ari kenanas ke besai. Kenanas tu bepelesarka pelajar, deka ngajar ulah etika enggau ngaga gerempung ti lurus.[38]
